Privacy policy

1. The short version
We collect the minimum we need to deliver verified facilities services: who you are, where the work happens, and records of what was done and paid. We do not sell personal data, and we do not run advertising trackers. We operate under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
2. What we collect
Account data — name, phone number, email, and the addresses you save for service delivery.
Service records — bookings, checklists, sign-off signatures, photos taken to verify work (for example waste segregation), ratings and issue reports.
Payment data — transaction references and receipts. Card and mobile money details are handled by Paystack, our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.
Technical data — device and usage information needed for security and, with your consent, aggregate analytics.
3. Why we use it
To schedule and dispatch visits, to produce the signed proof-of- service records that back your receipts and invoices, to process payments, to operate plans and green credits, and to meet legal obligations (tax, accounting). Business portal data is processed on the instructions of your organisation.
4. Sharing
Operators see the details needed to do the job — name, address, access notes — and nothing more. Payments go through Paystack. Our infrastructure providers host data under contracts that bind them to protect it. We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.
5. Cookies
The website uses essential cookies to function, and — only with your consent — preferences and aggregate analytics cookies. You can change your choices at any time via .
6. Retention
Service and payment records are kept for as long as the law and good accounting require. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised on verified request, except where we must retain it (for example signed service records tied to invoices).
7. Your rights
Under Act 843 you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccuracies, and deletion where retention is not legally required. Write to hello@urbanovex.com and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes
We will notify material changes to this policy in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
